One thing that is unique about Michigan's Family Court Problems is the "friend of the court" which works as a judicial agency under the direction of the circuit courts in which they serve. Although we are helping individuals around the country our acquisition of the focproblems.com puts us in also in a unique position to focus on problems associated with the friend of the court.

The friends of the court in Michigan are running an out-of-control family court child support sytem that is rife with service delivery problems, ethical problems, and bureaucracy problems. We read about foc problems in the newspaper. We hear about foc problems on the radio. We watch foc problems happen on the evening news. We even hear about foc problems from our friends and relatives too...

It seems that the problems never end with the friend of the court.

The worst part is that the problems people hear about in the media only represent a small fraction of the problems which are actually experienced on a daily basis by individuals that are trapped in the government programs, often times against their will and at taxpayer expense. Hundreds of thousands of people who are forced to deal with friends of the court and their office staff across Michigan face problems every day.

You need a stronger voice against the Michigan Friend of the Court. We are here to help provide that voice, because we advocate for you, not the court system that is focused on revenue generation instead of solving an actual social problem. Banding together with others across the nation will help lead to changes in the antequated and misguided family court system, which largely involves the friend of the courts here in Michigan.

When people experience problems with the friend of the court, it's difficult for these people to get any type of exposure. The result is that aside from a few brief news reports, an overwhelming majority of the problems faced by people are never heard by anyone else.

The lack of exposure needs to change and that is why you are here.

At this website and through our association membership, anyone - from anywhere in the world - who has experienced any problems with the friend of the court or their support staff in any of Michigan's FOC offices can voice their experiences and make the problems known to the public, legislators, and more importantly... make us aware of the problems.

So, tell us about your problems and your experiences with Michigan's friend of the court by opening a case at our support center or voice your issues publicly at our online forums. We will answer your questions, provide you procedural guidance, assist with grievances against court employees, and help make the issues you have experienced known to the public.

The Family Court Problems Association has launched a new tool for members and non-members to utilize. Members will have access to restricted content and services, but non-members will continue to be able to post their friend of the court problems and participate throughout the site.

One aspect of the the new Forum is a county by county account of documented friend of the court problems that has carried over from the focproblems.com website. You can access the new forums here.
